Transgender Day Of Rememberance
Mother, I don't get it,
Why are you so sad?
Daddy, what's wrong?
You look a little mad.
Is it something I did?
Is it someone I know?
I don't know who to ask.
I don't know where to go.

A boy at school was in a dress,
but he said he it wasn't fun,
when we traded, some man came,
he said we had to run.
The man ran fast,
We were to slow,
he caught us both and then...

Mom, Dad, it's white here,
not red like that man said.
I see angels dressed in white,
not demons cloaked in red.
And they handed me a dress,
and said I could wear whatever.
The boy, in pants, took my hand,
and said "Let's fly together."

My Name is Nicole Page. I live in Germany. My father was in the military and because of this I was able to move and see many different parts of the country and see many different kinds of people. I enjoy taking photos of urban and city life, as well as people and some post-mortum shots (its weird, I know). I also paint. My medium of choice is oil and charcoal but I also use acrylic and colored pencils. I usually take photos in black and white, or if I do take color photos they are overly saturated.
Current Residence: Heidelberg, Germany Favourite genre of music: Doom metal Favourite cartoon character: Courage the Cowardly dog
